Fundraisers provide an opportunity for us to support local schools, clubs, organizations, churches, sports teams, and other outreach programs in their efforts raise funds. Below, you will find frequently asked questions and guidelines on what to expect.

Q: HOW DO FUNDRAISERS WORK?
A: We typically schedule fundraisers Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm-9:00pm. There are three easy steps to follow:​​​​

Plan a day for your fundraiser and schedule with us.

Tell your participants to notify the cashier at the register that they are there for the fundraiser. This indicates to the cashier to place the receipt in a special container and collect 20% from the sale; otherwise, we would not know to credit the sale towards the fundraiser. Upon closing, we calculate the total sales collected via receipts. 20% of the sales from people who mentioned your group’s name will go to you.
Q: HOW MUCH MONEY WILL WE MAKE?
A: It depends how effectively you promote your event. The more you get the word out, the bigger the turnout will be. We’ve noticed, in addition to all forms of social media (email/Twitter/Instagram/Facebook), actual flyers work well. It helps keep your supporters to have a physical reminder about the event.
Q: CAN WE HAND OUT FLYERS TO COSTUMERS AS THEY ENTER THE DOOR?
A: No. Although we want your fundraiser to be a success, we do not want our regular customers to feel pressured or irritated by solicitation. So, you may not approach customers in our parking lot, at our door, or inside our store. Please be respectful of our regular patrons while they enjoy their experience at The Frozen Penguin.
Q: WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR CHECK?
A: Please check back within two weeks. This will give us adequate time to calculate your percentage and process your check.
